 Since
joining the Board of Directors for the Virginia Economic Development Partnership
in 2004, I have had the pleasure of experiencing first-hand Virginia’s
positive economic growth. The Partnership, in collaboration with allies at the
local and regional levels, works tirelessly to build an economy in the Commonwealth
that is strong and diverse.
Virginia’s cross section of regional products and services allows us
to find a home for virtually every project somewhere in Virginia, and the work
ethic across the Commonwealth is our greatest retention tool. We’re proud
to represent Virginians and we will continue our efforts to ensure that our
state is competitive in the domestic and global marketplace.
I am honored to serve the Commonwealth as VEDP’s Board Chairman. I look
forward to doing my part to improve the quality of life of all Virginians by
cultivating new business investment, fostering international trade growth and
encouraging the expansion of existing businesses in Virginia.
